KUMKUM BHAGYA: How is Abhi actually planning to keep Pragya close when being ready to be a father Tanu's baby?

Given the illogical component ruling the roost in the show, we definitely cannot give logical answers about what Abhi can find as a solution. Although no doubt, Abhi has the most lucid mind in the show. When he sees, he sees the situation 360 degrees. That's the charm of his character. The detriment in his character is when he does not want to see with his eyes, as his love for his loved ones makes him want to trust them and do anything for them.

Abhi at present is not seeing. He is not seeing because, he got misproven about him not being the baby's daddy. And before he can fight that situation, he has fallen in love with Pragya for the illogical sacrifices she makes. It might have been a teary situation for him or Pragya, but it magnetically pulls him closer to the pain of being in love with no hope. What he sees is a love that does not demand anything for itself, but just thinks of others need and right thing to do. He is so blissfully happy in this emotional state, that he focused all of his time in trying to get Pragya accept his love for her and also allow him to love her in an acknowledged manner and not just as unclaimed love. At the cost of separation from Pragya, he is still able to claim affection and love from her. And likewise she is claiming for his sacrifice through his love for her. This is a win-win situation for him, although he keeps crying like a baby. 

So it is not for Abhi to call the shots as how he is going to be close to baby and Pragya. He left it on Pragya to manage that for him. His deal being "Anything for you Pragya". As long as she manages, she will always be close to him. That's his deal. Earlier he did try to get Pragya independent of him before he confessed his love to her, but she was so adamant in not getting remarried herself. So his new deal is perfect for him and Pragya. 

Now if we really want Abhi to return to present world, flying down all the way from the stars he has been to, then what we need is a situation, that puts Pragya/Fuggy in jeopardy. Then his senses are going to be awake and he will have to deal with the situation. And at that time all logic will prevail and Abhi will take the hard decisions that he can so easily make for benefit of all. He has much less meandering brain unlike Pragya.

Abhi's Dressing when confessing his love for Pragya - August 5th & 6th 2015

Abhi the rockstar has his own collection of T's. Awesome Collection it is. So very casual and comfy, yet so much of a statement present in each of the Ts he dons. Abhi the family guy has his kurtas and sherwanis for all family functions. Again..no doubt rising up to the occasion! However, what did he wear when he wanted to confess his love for Pragya?  A blue shirt. Sexy it was. Super sexy it was. But something not present in his wardrobe. Its totally different from what he wears regularly. 

I keep wondering why the change in his style statement?!!!  What made him go for a different avatar from his normal get up?

That he was not being the rockstar proposing to his love of his life?

That he was not being the family man proposing a family wala love or kumkum wala love to his wife?

If he did think in those lines of thoughts, then indeed, he was wearing his heart on his sleeve. Abhi minus the rockstar image was what he might have wanted to be seen as reaching across to a woman, who has been constantly denying love for the rockstar he was, the life that he derived from his rockstar circumstances. For Tanu was a happenstance of his rockstar life. Sure, by and by and in time, Pragya had fallen in love even with his rockstar persona. But it had also become a forbidden fruit with constant reminder in a pregnant Tanu.

Yet, minus all the practicality of the situation, I still wonder, how much of a thought he did apply towards the careful dressing to the occasion. After all he did present his love a saree and wondered what she thought about it. He even asked her if she liked it. I think it was not his day or his time to come forth about his efforts and his intelligence. It was just his time to be the most self-effacing and reaching out to the other, something he never does in his normal life. And that must have been a gigantic step for him.

I wonder, if Pragya noticed the shirt? if she noticed the change?  Notice or no notice, she definitely was swayed away from her practical but stupid thoughts for a brief time, when she was able to accept Abhi's love for her, and confess her love for him as well.

KUMKUM BHAGYA - Thoughts on 24th Sep 2015 - Where is the damn kumkum?

It's a screwed up plot and situation at this time.

I can't see where is Kumkum and where is Bhagya.  Kumkum and Bhagya used to drive the story, plot in every possible way helping us to understand the Abhigya story. Atleast end of day, Abhi's trust in Pragya was her commitment to her kumkum, even if he was angry with her. He would know, the only way to please or appease her is respect her kumkum and she will melt away.

Post confession, Pragya has screwed up that story so badly that, even Abhi does not know what to trust in Pragya, except her sacrifice to do the right thing by him. That's his fuggy, the cutest fool who can do anything for him, no matter how much she would lose by it.

So Abhi is searching for that Fuggy who gave up her Kumkum for doing good by him.  She had promised him that she will never leave him alone even if they are not together in same worlds.

And Pragya? After she gave up her kumkum rights, she hinged on to Mangal sutra as one marries only once per her personal philosophy. Okay so far good. But she returns back to take care of him. Fine, without kumkum, she is keeping her Fuggy promise to Abhi. But does Dadi know abt that? So by which right and obligation is Dadi making Pragya act like this?

Pragya changed herself to a baharwaali and that is Dadi's plan?!!! Its actually so messed up, that we cannot help supporting Abhi in thinking all of this act as trash.

Seriously what is the agenda here? To expose Tanu, Aliya and find the person who is helping them.  Are they doing their job? Yes they are. Snail pace effort and result.

How is Abhigya relationship developing?

Pragya was an assumed money monger and Abhi read her chasmish eyes, saw her actions to see she is his Fuggy. Now Pragya is an actual money monger and Abhi is trying to wade through her to find his Fuggy. Where's the hinge? Earlier the hinge is kumkum and now it should be love.

Earlier, Pragya had faith in her kumkum and hence would not think twice in becoming a brainless git to be honoring that marriage and love her husband with zero expectation. Now, I guess she has faith in her love and hence would keep becoming the brainless git and try risking her agenda to keep her cover and keep getting close to Abhi with all expectation that she should otherwise not have.

I guess that is what the seduction act was about. Risking her cover, her agenda and desperately and insanely trying to get closer to her love. What did she achieve? What is she trying to achieve? Plant the seed of doubt in Abhi's mind? Yes. Was it smartly done? Nope. What can Abhi realize? This Pragya is absolutely disgusting in intentions. But what about the surge of feeling he had when she was close? Was that not his style hitherto to get to her so close when she was in rejection mode? Tables are turning indeed. Is it worth it? Is it any better? Absolutely screwed up situation. But that's what their bhagya is. Always stuck up together, no matter how much they should not be sticking together and be disgusted.

Alas! my question is only, where is the damn kumkum now?

Answer probably is that now the kumkum is love.  But can anyone confirm my understanding? From the story plotlines?  I guess we are just meant to enjoy the lovestory and their chemistry together.

KUMKUM BHAGYA : A year later Update - Sep 22nd 2015

I was happy to come back and watch KKB over You Tube from where I left off last year before the exit of previous Tanu (portrayed by Madhurima Tuli). Zee TV uploaded episodes over Youtube are only until May 31st 2015. I sat and watched webisodes for the remaining until Pragya's accident. 

I was happy with Pragya and Abhi's confession of their love for each other. So far good story-telling.

I decided to wait for the next phase to unwind. I do keep track of the story without watching episodes, because I want to see the best in one shot and savour the Abhigya chemistry minus the scheming which just raises by BP if I see it everyday. Otherwise I am very much happy with comic dialogues and senti dialogues as I keep chuckling aloud and I love that laugh.

At this point, Its really a challenge to analyze the story or Abhi's actions in the present format and content of the show. Key effort being TRP garnering with full on tapping of onscreen chemistry of Abhigya, its very much there in the show. No matter how repetitive the drunken scenes are, they tap the Abhigya chemistry and Cuteness to full potential. Its not just Pragya who is cute as Chashmish or Fuggy, its even Abhi who is cute as the kid who loves to talk without thinking and play with his wife in a free manner.

What happened between Abigya in past is beyond torture or ridicule, its the desire to unwind what they are into something stupid and silly. People who did not believe in love, fell in love; is what this love story is about Abhigya. Pragya loses her wits, likewise Abhi also loses his wits, when these two are in each other's company. However that is the not the real case when they are outside their room. They both are respected for their brain, heart and commitment to responsibilities. We as audience don't see it as we are always with them. But through other characters we know, these two are capable of keeping their wits about when occasion arises.

When coming to the New Avatar of the show, with changed Pragya, the format and content is almost thrown to same old format.

Dadi is still with Pragya. 

Last time, she was supposed to get married to Abhi and change him for good. 

This time, she is supposed to act his money minded boss/bitch and mind Abhi's interests for good.

Abhi still has an antagonist in Pragya. 

Last time, he was supposed to have Purab get married to Aliya and expose Pragya in a way that dissolves his marriage, He failed miserably and ended up trying to get Purab married to Bulbul and fall in love with Pragya.

This time, he is supposed to get married to Tanu, protect his family etc and fight back the money minded mistress from his home and professional life. Will he succeed. Reasonably, he has to fail. 

In which way he fails, we cannot predict. But goal definitely seems not about commitments abt marriage, goal is about living up to the commitment of love. So this phase is not about taking care of Pragya's family or any responsible reason. This phase is about him being truly, madly and desperately in love with Pragya against his better reasons. So the fuggy factor of cuteness has to change to maturity of beyond cuteness of wherever this love story has to go to.

Last time too Abhi was seemingly with Aliya and Tanu, but for his key decisions, he never involved anyone, not even Purab. He was always alone in his executions.

This time too, Abhi may be seemingly support Aliya and Tanu, but we have to wait, when he is going to be all alone in his executions.

I think, Tanu's pregnancy truth will be exposed by Abhi rather than Pragya. Because history is that Abhi exposes truth. Not Pragya. Even if it is in bits and pieces. And always Pragya has to keep up the act. Not Abhi. So he is technically free to find truth when situation blesses.

What can be the triggers? Very difficult to predict when and how these character developments unwind. Perhaps that's why those extreme rumours. Something so bad that it will make Abhi ignore his hatred for money minded Pragya, but some basic goodness within him will drive him to help her against his wishes.

This should be enough of my ramble which is like a mumble with me running out of ideas.

To sum up, I don't think Abhi is decoding Pragya. I think Abhi is feeling Pragya, which he never did before. Earlier he was trying to decode Pragya and found his fuggy. Now he has to feel this Pragya and find his ***. And yes absolutely true, the kiss in drunken or dream state is the goal. He needs to get that kiss for real when he is not in drunken state.
