SOS Call from Pragya & Purab: Bulbul where are Thou? Lets get this fixed ASAP!
Everyone behaving as expected. But there were only two persons who were thinking deeply in terms of steps needed to take urgently without any fail.
1) Pragya - In her mind - Kuch kar Pragya Kuch kar. Find Purab, get him back, do something, else everything is gonna explode in Ma's face. How I am gonna manage that ?!!! Oh! for God's sake where is Bulbul ?!!
2) Purab - In his mind - I ran away that's fine, coz if I married it would have sureshot Marriage Over and Out for Pragya. Where is Bulbul for Godsake ?!! I need to tell her that her sister is in danger and the problem is not what we have thought all along. Aliya and Abhi's gameplan had been something else!!!
I understood their frame of mind and how torn they were, not thinking about themselves but trying to find that/those persons who are needed in the situation to be aware and be there.
While Purab's thinking is very practical and consequential, for a while I was surprised at how Pragya came from a different planet according to me. But then by the middle of the episode, I realized how Pragya had become selfish just like Aliya or Abhi, when she was talking or rather ordering around Bulbul to find Purab, while saying sorry as well. If Aliya & Abhi both cared for their need of revenge and hooking a marriage with Purab, Pragya was so stuck on keeping her Ma away from any unpleasant concerns. Such single minded focus !!!
Its really surreal to see Pragya, trying to flit between alternating realms with only one focus in her mind, her mom's health. And as she flits, she sees to it that she is not hurting Daadi, not hurting Abhi's sentiments and lastly not hurting Bulbul's sentiments. Alas! She is not making anyone happy and Sarla with sharp observation is on the threshold of knowing all that.
Its sad that the two sacrificial goats have little time to think about right and wrong and are just getting rolled over the roller stone. Purab had nothing in mind except that the marriage was going to be a duping effort and so he just refused to accept that situation. But what he did now calls upon social ignominy upon himself. Did he even have time to think about it? Likewise Pragya who first refused the marriage and then got married for her mother's sake is daily getting her daily grind. Agree she did not abscond like Purab, but then did she have a choice ? She truly never had. She is just creating the delays for the inevitable breakdown of Sarla Arora.
Tanu and Pragya's entire interaction can be ignored as Plot driver incident with just the needed Plot action of having Abhi follow Pragya to that Temple. Pragya is definitely not listening to Tanu, she is just dissipating her tension by speaking aloud her thoughts over what is needed utmost in the moment.
